It's a very cool experience that will surprise and delight you with the way optical illusions can alter the way we see things.
Fun & easy day out with the kids

We visited with our children ages 11 and 8 on Thursday mid-day in August and we all had a brilliant time. Admission was CDN $90ish (GBP 60) for a family of four and we spent a little over an hour and a quarter there. My children would have happily spent a wee bit longer if we weren’t on a tight schedule.

The museum is smaller than I expected but crammed with super interesting displays. Plenty of great photo opportunities! There were a fair few people there but I didn’t find it uncomfortably crowded and we were able to enjoy all the displays with no/minimal waits. We skipped one display that had a big group and came back to it later.

The museum was kept very clean with someone regularly cleaning mirrors etc to ensure the best quality illusions. I also appreciated the modern & fun decor.

The displays we a mix of sets (stand here, take a photo from here), interactive displays, and displays to look at. There were instructions and explanations at every display .

I would highly recommend this place to anyone with children ages 4 and up, and I would have even had fun with just the adults. Could even be a fun first date!
Good times!

Had a great time. The exhibits were cool, fun and interesting. Got some great pictures. The staff was friendly and happy to help the pictures. We highly recommend this museum. Parking and traffic were the only challenges since we went on a weekday.
Pretty good

The Museum of Illusions in Toronto is a fun diversion if you have already seen all the sites in Toronto. I would not come here as a first time visitor to Toronto but as a regular visitor, it is a unique stop. Everything here is an optical illusion which will challenge your perception of reality. It is not super high tech and you might even recognize some of the displays as most of them are not new ideas. There was a young man walking around who was performing close up card magic and that was very impressive. It will amuse people of all ages. Unless you are with a really large group, you will spend about an hour here. The one complaint I have is that you cannot just walk in and pay. You have to do it all online before hand so it is not convenient for a spur of the moment visit.

It’s nice but not worth 20$. Have limited things to see and do. Was there for max 8 min that’s all you need. Not worth it.
