A wonderful city resource and gem
Annie S, 09-01-2023
Full disclosure, I have attended several FNLs, speaker events at the ROM before buying a membership this year but I love this place. I enjoy going after work to walk around to decompress for an hour after a stressful day. I enjoy the exhibitions the ROM brings in and feel I discover something each time at a venue easily accessed in the middle of the city. There were a ton of families there when i went on Sunday most recently and a soca/steel pan band.
Great experience

Really enjoyable afternoon spent there with my 3 years old. The dinosaurs section a big hit, but so were the other animal sections. Not to be missed on a rainy day. The kid zone area had a lot of interactive activities Volunteers are so lovely!
good time but a little pricey:)

Such a great museum with lots of things to see and plenty interactive experiences, all of which are amazing! Only thing I would say is that food from the cafe is ridiculously expensive - cupcake and juice was over $12!! Other then that it was a great day and I’d definitely come back in the future.
Not much has changed in ten years

Confusing layout if you want to get to the fourth floor for special exhibitions - signage is poor and you can easily bypass the hidden elevators. Coat check for nonmembers is only $3 but they make you debit and their machine is way too slow. They offer a 20% discount on specific parking lots if you download a recommended Indigo Parking app but the app is garbage and we were stuck in the parking garage when the QR code wouldn’t scan. Washrooms were clean, nice gift shops (overpriced) and we were able to find seating for lunch. The Beasts exhibit was good but we wish the description on the website was more detailed. Too many uncontrolled children running around pounding exhibits and yelling - certainly a parenting issue but the acoustics of the museum can make them hard to handle :(

Why is the “who was with you?” limited to just families with teens and kids?? Why isn’t there just adults?
